It looks like the ongoing saga of Channel Awesome's woes continue to rage on. Recently a number of ex-contributers released a 65 page document detailing the bullshit abuse and harrasement they experienced at Channel Awesome. And incase some of you don't know, Channel Awesome is the website of the Nostalgia Critic, who was once a very popular youtuber, and is still is to a degree. But Channel Awesome has been on the decline over the years due to a mass exodus of it's content producers, contributers, and employees.

I gotta say, as someone who used to watch Nostalgic Critic a lot, alongside other Channel Awesome content creators like Angry Joe, Linkara and some others who I prob forgot, it's sad to see this trainwreck unfolding. First off it was the incident with Spoony who left the website for various reasons, now a few of their content producers quit after the websites CEO, Michael Michaud started being a huge dick. Also as of this year a few more people have left including Linkara. Channel Awesome is not what it's used to be.
Aside from watching a few of Angry Joe's videos (Mostly his angry reviews and then I skip his stupid skits), I have completely stopped watching content made by current or former Channel Awesome staff. They're not just funny anymore, escpically Nostalgia Critic, his brand of humor is so goddamn cringey it hurts.
But yeah, its sad to see Channel Awesome on the decline like this, but they did this to themselves. You have one person to thank for that, the sites founder Michael Michaud.

The dangers of talking about greed in gaming
If there's disturbing realization I've come across and trust me I'm kinda too late in saying the obvious here, but when it comes to exposing the fraudsters in this industry you'll get a sense of "why bother?" Let me clarify that by saying this. The video game industry and corporations in general will continue to find ways to be make money. Making money isn't a bad thing, let me clear. However, corporations will use any trick to get more money from consumers. When I discuss the blatant greediness these companies do, I do so in the hope of enlightening people. Sure I'm under no delusion my journals attract so much attention, I think at best they get like 100 views? But I still like to say something, and these journals help with that. If I can make even one person see how bad things are, I feel good about myself knowing people can be awoken to this madness and maybe push back against the Sonys and EAs of the world. I finally get to try out Hi-Fi Rush on ps5
So despite my earlier posts criticizing Microsoft for porting their own titles to PlayStatio,((My argument being it harms competition) I was still eager to try out hi fi rush. It’s a game I got recommended by someone and it’s one of the few Xbox series exclusives I wanted to try out. So in hindsight microsoft did me a solid and saved me 500 dollars in buying one of their oversized bricks. i just started playing but I wanted to comment on how amazing the game looks and how well it is animated. Like seriously it’s like watching an animated cartoon! I’ve been gaming for a long time and really it Is kinda hard to be impressed in an industry that shoots out the same game every week. Combat wise it’s fun, but I’m just starting out. It’s a wonderful hack and slash game (Yea I will call it that. I dislike the terms character action game or spectacle fighter because those sound dumb to me. I don’t care what you think or say lol)
My bad
So yesterday I foolishy let nostalgia and blind fanboyism drive me to make a fan boy post for Star Wars battlefront collection. This port has really bad bugs.It’s overpriced. 34 dollars for two old ps2 games. I bought more modern games for less. For some godly reason its memory is over 30 gigs for two ps2 games with barely any improvements. sooo yeah my bad. Don’t spend your money on a lazy port like this.
Star Wars Battlefront collection releases tomorrow
So tomorrow we're finally getting updated releases of not just two classic ps2 games, but arguably two of the best Star Wars games to date. No I don't mean EA's horrendous Battlefront reboots, but the ones by Pandemic Games (Which was closed down by EA funny enough). To say I'm excited is an understatement. Battlefront 1 and 2 were classic games I've replayed many times in my youth. Sure, it's been a decade or so since I last played them, opinions change over time, but I like to think the games are just as good as they were back in the 2000s. A time when gaming was corrupted like it is today (See Battlefront 2 EA for a good example.) These games were fun to play, were filled with so much content like Galactic Conquest which made it feel like you were actually trying to conquer or restore freedom to the galaxy. Those games didn't have any microtransaction or lame dlc passes. They are relics of a bygone era, but I can't wait to replay them.

After reading the doc released, I'm done with them. The only one I still is The Cinema Snob, but I support him from his YT page or his site. That's about it.
